Laughfest 2014

For the fourth year of Gilda’s Laughfest in Grand Rapids, for KCAD students were asked to create graphics to be displayed at Laughfest Central at the Grand Rapids Art Museum as well as to be used on posters and t-shirts to be sold at Laughfest events.

The design represents the diversity of the festival while also being rooted in the community of Grand Rapids through a mosaic of squares in the shape of Michigan, with the Laughfest logo in the general vicinity of Grand Rapids. None of the squares, however, are aligned with the frame because, let’s face it, we’re all a little off kilter.
